Hi I still haven’t received my refund spoke to IRS said I need to do an Ammend and contact turbo. What should I do?

Why did they say to amend? Did they get your first original return? Did they keep your refund?

Ok... that makes no sense ... one does not amend a return until the original return has finished processing and you get the original refund. The IRS telling you to amend is most unusual ... what did they say you need to amend ? Why ?

Did they ever send you a letter explaining what is happening with your return ?

Did you check the IRS site here ? https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/irfofgetstatus.jsp What does it say ?

The Amendment program for the ONLINE version will not be working until sometime in December when the ONLINE 2019 program comes online. So you have some time to figure out what the IRS is talking about.
