Hi, my tt says that my tax return was accepted by the irs on 1/30, but i have not received an email from the irs confirming this. Any reason why?

The IRS does not send confirmation emails. 

 

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

 

If you did not receive an email from TurboTax then check your junk or spam folders on your email account.

Verify that you have the correct email address for your TurboTax account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Sign onto your TurboTax account.  On the Tax Home web page click on Intuit Account on the bottom left of the web page.
