Hi there so I filed an amended tax return today and the deadline to file is tomorrow on 07/15/2020. I also filed easy extension. Do I still need to mail check payment?

They asked me for payment while filing the extension including my account number. Do I still need to make a check out to the IRS after providing this information during filing my extension.

Yes, you need to pay the IRS whatever is owed after amending the return. Here is a Help article with some payment options.
