How can I change the payment method of my refund?

Unfortunately, once you file your return, you cannot change the payment method of your refund.

If you haven't filed yet, please follow these steps to change your direct deposit information in TurboTax Online:

1. Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
2. From the left panel, choose File.
3. Select Start/Revisit/Continue next to Step 2: Your refund/payment info (Note: you will have to complete Step 1 before moving on to Step 2)
4. Select See all options on the screen Get your refund up to 5 days early
5. Choose Direct Deposit and follow through the interview questions.
