How can I check my TT return for proper placement of additional tax payment - IRS has amended my return to remove 1099 tax withheld

and only credited the additional tax payment. TT has amounts together in line 17 1040. IRS changed line 17 to 0

To open your return that has been filed, after the Sign In page, click on 'My Tax Returns and Documents' .

Choose 2019 and Amend.

You can make the change in your return that the IRS informed you of and save the Amended Return without mailing it (keep the IRS letter).

When you transfer to next year's return, you'll have the correct amounts.
