How can i check to see if i chose direct deposit or to mailing my return?

You can verify how you are receiving your tax refund by reviewing your printed tax return and confirming the bank information you provided. This will be found on your Form 1040 under the Refund section (Lines 21a and 21b).
If you did not provide your banking information, you will receive a paper refund check.
