How can I delete an employer from my federal taxes? I added an employer from a previous year accidentally and now I can't delete it. Thanks

To delete an delete an employer that transferred over from a previous year:

  1. Type W-2 in the search bar and click on Jump to W-2.
  2. On the Your W-2 info so far screen, click on the trash can next to the employer you want to delete.
  3. Continue with the onscreen interview until complete.

To delete a form, select one of the following:

  • If you're using TurboTax Online software and need to delete a form, click here.
  • If you're using TurboTax CD\Download software and need to delete a form, click here
