Question

How can I do that? I see no options on TurboTax to amend my submitted/IRS approved return.I need to add the FEIE to my tax return.Do I have to wait until I pay next week?

You may file an amended return once it has been accepted by the IRS.  This TurboTax Link https://How do I amend my 2021 return? has information you may find useful.

 

To claim the  Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (FEIE) you will need to add Form 2555 to your tax return.  Follow these steps to add Form 2555 to your return:

  1. Sign into your account
  2. In the search box type Foreign income
  3. Click on Jump to foreign income in the results box
  4. Follow the screen prompts to enter your foreign income

The IRS likely Accepted your return for processing.  Approved is a later step.
