How can I edit the amount of tax I already paid? I did not understand the question and entered the wrong amount. My taxes aren't calculating correctly.

Did you make an estimated payment or a payment with an Extension?    Have you filed  yet?

ESTIMATE PAYMENT

To enter Federal or State Estimated Taxes Paid, including a state estimated payment made in January for the prior year, go to

Federal on left or at top (Personal for Home & Business)

Deductions and Credits

Then scroll way down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

Estimates - click the Start or Update button

EXTENSION PAYMENT

To enter the amount you paid with an extension (including state extension) go to

Federal Taxes (or Personal Tab for desktop H&B version)

Deductions and Credits

Then scroll way down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

Other Income Taxes - Click the Start or Update button

Next page second section Payments with Extension

Either Visit All or Click Start or Update by the extension you paid
