No.   E-filing is permanently closed for past year returns.   Past year returns must be filed by mail.  Only a 2024 return can be e-filed using TurboTax.

Past year returns must be printed, signed and dated in ink, and mailed to the IRS and state.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

You can file a new prior-year return for tax year 2023, 2022, or 2021, but you'll have to purchase and download that year's TurboTax software because TurboTax Online and the mobile app are only available for the current tax year.

Returns for tax year 2020 and earlier are no longer eligible to be filed through TurboTax.

As Xmasbaby0 mentioned above, your returns must be printed and mailed as e-file is no longer available for those years.

For your state income tax returns If you are going to print and mail your state tax return with a check,  you should check with your State's Department of Revenue as to how they require your tax payment to be made and where to mail it.

You can click on your state in the following article and it will take you to your State's Department of Revenue.  There you can find details as to how your state requires you to mail in and pay your taxes.  Click here for "How do I contact my State Department of Revenue?"
