In using Turbotax, where and how can I enter my tax filing status?

    You enter your filing status in MY INFO.

    You don't actually enter your filing status. In the My Info or Personal Info section of TurboTax you enter your marital status, dependents, and other information. TurboTax then selects a filing status for you. You then have the opportunity to change the filing status that TurboTax recommends if you want to select a different filing status that you qualify for.
