How can I get form 1095-A to stop showing an error? It is showing in Part III, Column B, red zeroes. Can I make a correction somehow?

Usually the second lowest cost Silver plan (SLCSP) premium can be found in Column B of your Form 1095-A, but sometimes it may be missing or incorrect.  There should be an entry in Column B for any months which have an entry for Column A or C

Delete the zeros and leave the boxes blank with nothing in them.   If you continue to have issues, delete the entire form 1095-A and re-enter it, but deleting the zeros should move you past the error.

Dawn,

Thank you for that suggestion.  Unfortunately, I tried both ideas but still had the issue.  I removed the zeroes and left the boxes blank, but I still got the error.  So next, I deleted the entire form and filled out a new one.  However, I still got the error message.  Do you have anything else I can try?  Thanks.

If you think the 2021 return may have been impacted and you used TurboTax, there is no additional charge to use Turbo Tax to amend your federal or state return.  You may want to go back and see if it changes the return enough for you to want to file an amendment.  Just remember to change the year on the calculator tool to 2021.

This TurboTax Help article has step-by-step directions for amending a prior year return.
