Question

How can I just amend Schedule B (1040) to include answers to Part III? I only have signature authority on a bank account for the company I work for.

I don't need to file any of the other forms but if I enter an amount then the online tool requires me to fill out all the additional info.

    After you finish the income section and choose Done with Income, you should see a screen asking if you owned or controlled a foreign bank account. Choose yes here and you will get questions related to foreign assets.
