In your Windows system you can set the default for the file type.  For a .pdf mine has Adobe Acrobat Reader

Previous reply was of NO help.  The point is the Print Preview is in a proprietary Adobe READER and attempting to PRINT is futile without a subscription for the full Adobe product.  If I save as .pdf in my documents or USB thumb drive, then use the PRINT option in the TurboTax FILE dropdown box, it also reverts to the default Adobe Reader and won't print.  Another document product (LibreOffice) can retrieve the saved TurboTax .pdf form but shows gibberish so, again no printing.   What's the cure?   What's the use of wasting so much time trying to print for a paper trace???

You don't need an Adobe subscription to save/print your TurboTax PDF.

In the FILE section, choose Save as PDF.  Then click on the PDF file you saved, and Print from it.

Here's more info on Printing from TurboTax Online.
