How can I tell if my 2021 taxes were filed in TurboTax?

What does it say in your account for the 2021 return? Does it say "accepted?" Or does it say something else --like "rejected", "Printed" or "ready to mail?" If it does not say Accepted, then it was not filed unless you printed it yourself and mailed it yourself. TurboTax does not mail it for you.

You can check your account at the IRS and go to TRANSCRIPTS. That page as four boxes that list the last four or so years. Inside each box will be "Account Transcripts", "Wage and Income", "Record of Account", and "Return Transcript". Save those transcripts to your computer so you can review whenever you wish.
