How do I add my banking information to my 2019 tax return

If you have already filed your return, you can not add your bank account information for your stimulus payment.  Rather, the IRS is setting up a portal for people to update their bank account information. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

If you are trying to add your bank account information to your return before electronically filing it, simply select File from the left hand side menu.  Follow the on screen prompts to add your bank account information.
