How do I amend my 2021 return for the $1400 covid stimulus?

I didn't file the last stimulus of 2021. My taxes are already filed for that year. Box 30 is blank.

IRS has said it will review all 2021 filed tax returns, examining Box 30 for correctness.

If you are eligible, you will get it. You are probably not eligible.

April 18, 2025 is the last day to amend if you want to file 1040-X with an amount from Line 30.

your rebate goes on 1040-X line 15 col (b) col (c)

mark box Other and write "EIP3 rebate" in the space provided.

Do not include your old 1040 nor your revised 1040 because the Form 1040-X reflects any changes there and becomes your new tax return.
