The IRS will not start accepting 2020 tax until Jan 27, 2021.

Not sure what return you think the IRS has accepted ---they will not begin to accept 2020 returns until late January 2021. You cannot get an advance loan for a 2019 return that you e-filed back in October or earlier--if that is what you mean.

TurboTax will be offering a refund advance loan —but not until January. And you do not get the money until the 2020 e-file has been ACCEPTED by the IRS.You also have to agree to receive your refund on the prepaid TurboTax Visa.
