Question

How do I change my payment method for state taxes after I've already e-filed? I selected the "send a check" option but I'd rather do a direct deposit.

You can NOT change your payment method after you have filed your return, unless your return gets rejected (then just log back in to make any necessary changes).

You can, however, contact your state Department of Revenue to make a direct debit (or credit card) payment: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302452
