How do I check if amended return has been submitted successfully?

I think I submitted amended return(2020) yesterday but I don't see it anywhere on turbotax online.

you cannot e-file a 2020 amended (or even original) return. it must be printed and mailed. then it will take 6 months or so before the IRS gets to it. until then it won't even know it has it. you did not successfully e-file. when you mail it, use a tracking method or proof of delivery.

You should have used the 2020 downloaded program and that is the only place to find the return ... if so open the program and choose to mail the amended return in the FILE tab then the correct form & mailing instructions will be presented in the PDF that you save.

@abl_146 You asked about this in another thread. As explained, it is impossible to e-file an amended 2020 return. The only way to send in an amended 2020 return is by mail in an envelope. If you did not print it and put it in an envelope, and take it to a mailbox, it has not been filed.
