FICA is the combination of Social Security and Medicare that is withheld from your paycheck.  Did your employer withhold SS and Medicare from your wages?  Were you a W-2 employee?

If you were self employed you should have paid self-employment tax for SS and Medicare--about 15.3%, since when you work as an independent contractor, the SS and Medicare are not withheld from your wages by an employer.

If you had self employment income and a Net Profit on Schedule C the FICA tax would be the self employment SE tax on 1040 line 57 for 2017.

For 2018 It is on the 1040 Schedule 4 line 57 which goes to 1040 line 14.
