How do i check on my amended tax return

I checked the IRS website and they do not have record of my amended return. Did I file correctly through you? I got the confirmation on this end when I was done.

I can't see your account because this is a user Q&A forum. But you need to mail in your amended return. If you didn't do so, it hasn't been filed.

As it states on the IRS amended return lookup, it can take up to 3 weeks for your return to show up in the system and up to 16 weeks for it to be processed. IRS Amended Return lookup site is here: https://www.irs.gov/filing/individuals/amended-returns-form-1040-x/wheres-my-amended-return-1
