how do I email a copy of a return to another person?

Since emailing a tax return is not secure, it is not recommended.  Faxing, mailing or hand carrying the tax return is recommended instead of emailing.

Download the PDF of your tax return if you used TurboTax.  Attach the PDF to the email.

Scan the pages of a tax return and save as a PDF or JPEG and attach the PDF or JPEG to the email.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
