Question

How do I get back to the "business at risk check box?" I checked the wrong one at the end when TurboTax was checking everything and now I can't get back to it.

I followed someone's recommendation but the steps didn't add up to how mine worked.

"At risk" simply means that the business owner is personally liable for the business's losses.

Here how you can go back to that section:

  • Log into your account and click Take Me To My Return
  • Select Federal from the left menu.
  • Select Wages and Income then Income and Expense.
  • Select Edit next to Self Employment Income.
  • You will arrive at the Your Business summary page where you can add/edit a business
  • Click Edit next to the business where you need to make a change
  • Now, you should arrive at a Business Information summary page
  • Scroll down to Uncommon Situations . Click the edit/review button.
  • The next page will have the “at-risk” question at the bottom.
