How do I look at a tax return I filed in 2012?

    TurboTax and the IRS save tax returns for seven years.  If you did not save a pdf or a hard copy of it, it is gone now.  Sorry.   The IRS does save transcripts longer, so "maybe" you still can get a transcript of 2012.
