How do I make changes to my online tax return? I just printed my tax return but I didn't file my taxes yet.

If TurboTax thinks you were finished, but you aren't, and you haven't filed, you can open the return back up to continue working on it.  Here's how:

When you log in, at the Tax Home look for a link "Add a State."   That doesn't really add one, but will open the return interview back up.

If you make changes in the Federal return, and if you have a state return, also step through the screens of the State section to be sure the Federal changes are applied to the state return.   Then go through the REVIEW tab again to be sure all is in order.    Then go to the FILE section to choose a filing method, etc.   If you choose to efile the return, be sure you go all the way to the final screen and click a big orange button "Transmit Returns Now."
