How do I obtain a signed copy of my taxes from Turbotax, as the copy I download from the site is unsigned?

E-filed tax returns do not have a physical signature on the return.  The prior year AGI that was entered by you was your electronic signature.

If someone is asking for a signed copy then print, sign and date a copy of the tax return to give to them.

There is no physical signature on a return that was e-filed.  You "signed" it electroncally by entering your AGI or PIN.   If someone like a lender or school wants a "signed" copy then print your return, use a pen and sign it in ink on the line next to the words "Sign here" to make them happy.

There is no actual signature.  When you efiled you signed by entering the prior year AGI to verify.

If you need to give someone a signed copy you print it out and sign it in ink yourself.

The only thing in your return is in the PDF of your TurboTax return, the last page of the federal return should be an "electronic postmark" that shows your name, Social Security number, the date and time that you e-filed the return, and the date that the IRS accepted it.
