How do I print a draft of the income tax return to e-mail to my spouse in a remote location to review?

Can't you give them your log in info so they can view it in your account?

Before filing, You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return

while some will tell you never to e-mail your return to anyone, I've worked at several CPA firms which do e-mail returns as directed by the client. the procedures the firms followed: first, they save it as a PDF/ print it in PDF format. then encrypted the PDF file requiring a password to open it. it's then e-mailed. Then in a separate e-mail we send the password.
