How do I stop amend my state taxes? It keeps saying I have to mail it in, what does that mean??

I've never had to "amended" my state taxes, now Im not sure what's going on with my state taxes

Did you already file your state return and then reopen it? If so, this could cause the program to identify that you are starting an amended return.

If you didn't already file, and TurboTax says you need to mail it in instead of e-filing, it could be that you have a situation or form in your return for which your state doesn't allow e-filing or a form that TurboTax doesn't support.

See this forms availability tool and select "1040 individual", and your state. It will list the forms for your state and indicate which ones are not yet available or are unsupported for e-filing.
