How long does it usually take to recieve your refund after you mail your return?

TurboTax will not notify you because when the IRS receives your mailed tax return because the IRS does not notify TurboTax when they receive a mailed return. If you have mailed your tax return the IRS says that you can start tracking it 4 weeks after mailing your paper return via the Where's my Refund site: https://www.irs.gov/refunds. The IRS states that they typically issue refunds within 21 days of accepting the tax return.
