You will not find your employment "history" in your tax returns.  If you look at the worksheets that are part of the pdfs saved with the returns, you will see employer names that issued W-2's, but they will not show actual dates of employment.  W-2's only show what year you received income from an employer--not a detailed account of when you worked if, for instance, you worked for only part of a year for an employer.

 

You may find it helpful to get a work history from Social Security.
