How do you file annual local earned income tax returns?

I filed my federal and state (PA) online last year like I always do. I received a letter in the mail last week stating that I failed to file my annual local earned income tax and could face a penalty. I have never done this before and it was also addressed to my maiden name which has never been connected to this address and hasn’t been my last name for 4 years. I’m wary it could be a scam?

Your local/city taxes in PA are your own responsibility---TurboTax does not support local tax forms in PA.

TurboTax only prepares a few city or local tax returns as an extra step in your state return.  For most local tax returns you are on your own.  You may have to ask around amongst your neighbors, etc. to find out if you have a local tax and how to pay it. “Google “ local tax for your area.  Call your city government, etc.  Your only record of paying your local tax will be your own bank/credit card records
