Question

How long do I have to amend a 1040 form with my 1099-Misc? I filed my taxes already and forgot to add income to the filed taxes.

You have 3 years from the date you filed your return (or 2 years after you paid the tax due, whichever is later) to file an amended return, which means you don't have to get it done by the April 15 filing deadline. But if you owe money please be aware that you can incur interest on top of the amount due after April 15th.
