How long does it take for your taxes to pend, mine has been pending for three days

Typically, returns stay in the pending status for 24-48 hours.  But some may remain pending for several days.  It's been only 3 days at this point, so just keep checking back.  I'm linking you to a TurboTax FAQ that may help explain.
