How long have you been waiting for the IRS to take your payment?

Curious to know how long others have been waiting for the IRS to debit their payment from their bank accounts (for those who owe the IRS).

I filed on 4/12. State and federal were accepted the same day. State debited what I owed them by 4/14. Still waiting for the IRS to take theirs. Same bank accounts used for both, and I double checked to make sure after I filed.

The IRS is having a problem with direct debit payments. They are aware of the problem and they are working on getting it resolved.

I'm in the same boat. Filed on 4/12 and both state and federal were accepted that day. Still waiting on the IRS to debit my account. This is unlike previous years where they debited within a day or two.

I got really worried when IRS has yet to deduct from my bank account.

Glad I came across this and found that its not a problem with my submission. TurboTax supposedly said my return was submitted. IRs, take my money already!! 🤣

I filed on 4/14.
