Your question is not really clear.  You say you filed on January 28--the first day that the IRS began to accept 2018 returns.  Then you say you amended and "it's been a week since...."

Do you mean that you just prepared your amended return about a week ago?  Did you prepare a Form 1040X and print,, sign and mail it in?  Amended returns cannot be e-filed.  And it takes about 3-4 months for the IRS to process an amended return.  TurboTax will not have any updates regrading an amended return you mailed.  Once you file your return, TurboTax is done and is out of the loop.

A 1040X cannot be e-filed.  It must be printed and mailed.  It will take about 3-4 months for the IRS to process an amended return.  It is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it, like UPS or certified mail, so you will know it was received.
