How to amend if I only have pdf

evidently, you did not use Turbotax for that year otherwise the return would be available for amending.   if it's an outside preparer error you should go back to the preparer to fix it for free. you didn't specify the year. omy only 2020 through 2022 can be amended to get a refund. prior years are beyond the statute of limitations (generally 3 years from original due date or extended due date if properly extended)

you would need to purchase the Tyrbotax 2020 or 2021 app for desktop - full PC or Mac  - no cellphones

then you would have to recreate that year's return item by item from the PDF  and then view the file to make sure everything agrees with the PDF.  you then save the return.  you then open Turbotax and click on the amend icon.
