@Iliana zamarripa  If you have already filed your return, unfortunately, you would not be able to make the change. If the account information is incorrect, the financial institution will send it back to the IRS and then the IRS will mail you a paper check.

If you have not filed yet please follow the instructions in the TurboTax FAQ below:

How do I change my refund method?

For the sake of SEO I'm going to restate the response above:
If you have already filed your return, unfortunately you can't change your bank account information.
Change your info prior to filing/paying the fee next year.
Note to the design/engineering team:
Just a heads up you might want update the UX here to explicitly ask if the user wants to update their direct deposit information here. It seems like the likelihood that someone would know they need to update their personal bank information on your website prior to submitting the tax return is very low. I assume your Insights team is phenomenal as the site has improved year-over. hopefully they find this pain point sufficient to warrant changing the order of the bank info and filing.

Regardless of the mishap glad to file with Turbo tax and look forward to doing so again next year.

To help everyone check on the status of their payments, the IRS is building a second new tool expected to be available for use by April 17. Get My Payment will provide people with the status of their payment, including the date their payment is scheduled to be deposited into their bank account or mailed to them.

An additional feature on Get My Payment will allow eligible people a chance to provide their bank account information so they can receive their payment more quickly rather than waiting for a paper check. This feature will be unavailable if the Economic Impact Payment has already been scheduled for delivery.

What to add new bank account  deposit

January 14, 2021

If you are referring to the account for the refund on your 2020 tax return, you can enter this information as you are getting ready to file your return (in the FILE section).  Once you select direct deposit, you will be prompted for the bank information.

If you are referring to the account information for the stimulus check, please see the instructions in this article:  Update your stimulus payment direct deposit information
