How to designate refund be sent to savings account,the account only had a routing #?

My saving account only shows a routing number.

Bank accounts have account numbers.  The routing number is for the bank itself.  Your account number gets it to the account that is in YOUR name.  You need both.  If you do not know them both--get them from your bank.  If you use incorrect banking information, the deposit will be rejected when it shows up at the bank and it will go back to the IRS.   Then it will take a few extra weeks for the IRS to mail you a check.
