My bank account was recently hacked. I had to open a new checking and savings account with the same bank. I have all the documents proving this. How can I possibly get this changed? Do I have to contact the IRS?

If you have already filed your return, there is no way to change your direct deposit account. The IRS will attempt the deposit, but if the account is closed the bank will not accept and it will go back to the IRS. The IRS will then mail the refund to the address on the return.
