How to figure Net IRA conversions

You should have records of your previous conversions. If you used TurboTax in the past you can see this information on the IRA Information worksheet. If not, then you will need to check your previous tax records.

Please note, if you are over 59 1/2 and had the Roth IRA for 5 years then your distributions are Qualified Distributions. Your Form 1099-R should have code T or Q. You can ignore the net contribution and net conversion questions.
