I initially submitted both my federal and state (California) returns as standard deduction, but would like to amend my state to be itemized instead. Through the amendment process, I can change the federal, but at no point, does it offer to change the state.
There was a post for 2022 explaining how to do it, but I cannot replicate it with my 2023 return.
