I accidentally put my husbands name in the 'dependent' section and can't change it, what should I do?

Go back to MY Info and delete him. Then click your own name in MY INFO and go through all the screens for yourself. When it asks if you were married in 2024, you say YES. Next it will ask if you want to file together with your spouse-----say YES to file a joint return and NO to file married filing separately. Then it will have you enter information for him. One of the questions will be whether anyone can claim him as a dependent. Say NO.
