Question

I accidentally submitted my w2 from 2019 as a 2020 w2 how can i fix it before the 12th

Have you already filed?  If you have already filed, you will need to wait until the return is rejected.  Then, you will be able to correct and re-submit. 

 

If you have filed and the return is NOT rejected, you will need to complete an Amendment.  To do this, please see the link here.

 

If you have not filed and you just need to clear and start over, please follow the instructions here.
