Question

I already filed taxes. Now i need to remove a 1098-T. When i try to do an amendment, it still says i will get a refund but before I can complete it I need to PAY federal?

If you had a balance due before you prepared your amendment, the answer is yes, you need to wait until your tax return is fully processed (which means you have received your refund or your balance due is charged to your account). Once your tax return is processed, you can file an amendment through TurboTax using Form 1040-X.
