Question

I am an Uber Driver - The car loan interest deduction calculation appears to be incorrect.

My total 2019 personal and Uber driving was 33,000 miles. My Uber driving miles (from Uber) was 23,124 miles. So my Uber miles are 0.70 of total miles driven. I would think that my deduction should be 0.70 x my 2019 car loan interest.

maybe.  it could be that the standard mileage deduction is larger than your actual use deduction.  

the standard mileage deduction would be about $13,400 ($ .58 per business mile).  we can't see your return
