Question

I am UNABLE to get a HUMAN at the IRS. I had to resend my taxes with form 8962 and I faxed it about 3 wks ago and still NO updates! Any advice on info for DDD?

The IRS does not acknowledge receipt of 8962 forms.

All you can do is wait. It is nearly impossible to call the IRS this time of a "normal" year - towards the end of tax season. Since the IRS has been charged with administrating the Corona Stimulus payments there are hundreds of thousands of people flooding the phone lines looking for information. I would not even think of calling the IRS until this is over.

Be patient and watch the IRS site once a day ... in a normal year they process these within 60 days however many have posted getting refunds in as short as 3 weeks ... patience will be required during this crazy time.
