Did you file the first original return? You do not amend to fix a rejected return or to change or add something to your original return. Why did you amend? You can only amend an original fully processed return and you got the first refund.

Yes I originally filed my return and it was accepted. I just filed an amendment online for. K 1 trust from 1041 and now the website says it has to mailed in?

Yes, Amended returns can only be mailed. It can take them 16 weeks for the IRS to process them. And they only mail checks for refunds. After 3 weeks you can track it here, https://www.irs.gov/filing/individuals/amended-returns-form-1040-x-/wheres-my-amended-return-1

amended returns all must be mailed and do not send an amended return till you are 100% certain your originally filed return was accepted. Read more here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3288565
