Question

I apparently messed my 2018 taxes up and filed twice for my same SS number. How can I ammend this before the 15th?

You cannot e-file with the same SSN as the 2nd one will reject.

Also if both were paper filed or the 2nd one was IRS will reject it.

There is no need to Amend a duplicate filing as 2nd one will be rejected.

Is there any other information you can provide as to how I proceed now? I filed an extension on my taxes and made an appointment with you guys. Turbo tax still won’t let me file because it thinks I’m trying to double file, if that makes sense. Thanks!
