I can’t access my HI state return from last year but it never was accepted. How do I get more info on it to get my full refund since I only got half last year?

I lived there for 6 months and sent a check per the state request but now it says it was never accepted but that check definitely left my account last year. What do I do? I can’t click on it or anything.
